The United States Institute of Peace

Did you know there's a United States Institute of Peace?!?

Yep, the url is www.usip.org and it's funded with your tax dollars. The site says "The United States Institute of Peace is an independent, nonpartisan federal institution created by Congress to promote the prevention, management, and peaceful resolution of international conflicts."

So how come you've never heard of this federal institution? Because the Bush Administration doesn't want you to know! The Bush Administration is comprised of archetypical old-white-Christian males, who in their minds are the embodiment of "good", and they are crusading against "evil" in this world. Who needs an Institute of Peace when you've got these crusaders who are cleansing the world of sin with purges of firepower and the killing of evil-doers?
